Community Outreach Update


September 14th-18th

Please help support our sister school in the Cherry Creek School District and Clothes to Kids of Denver by donating food and gently worn clothing. There will be boxes in the front and back parking lots during drop-off the week of September 14th-18th for your donations. If this time doesn’t work for you, please email community.outreach.homestead@gmail.com to arrange another time to drop-off items.

What to Bring:

*Food kids can easily make

*Grocery gift cards

*Gently worn clothes

Please sign up to volunteer to help with the Homestead Community Food and Clothing Drive the week of September 14th-18th. Due to Covid-related restrictions, we will not be able to drop the food and clothing off in the school this year. Therefore, we need a couple of people to stand near the front and back parking lots taking people’s donations at drop-off each morning of the week. Our school community came together and raised over $28,000 for Homestead – more than $3,000 over our goal!


Your generous support makes Homestead Elementary the exceptional school that it is. We couldn’t do it without you!Let the celebrations begin!  For surpassing our goal, the entire school earns a PAJAMA DAY on Friday, March 13th.  YES! For grade level winners, please see the email that was sent out on 2/24.

Want to pull into the school parking lot next year and have a special spot reserved just for you!? The top 3 donors for the 100% Homestead fundraiser will win a parking spot in the front lot for the WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR!   Currently the top donations range from $400 – $1000. Click here to DONATE!

We only have two days left in this campaign.  So far we have raised $16,000 of our $25,000 goal – so we still have a ways to go!   We are asking that every family donate $100 to reach our goal.  Thank you!


100% Homestead Update

Don’t let the cold weather slow you down!   

Donate Today to support educational enrichment at Homestead!We are almost halfway through the campaign and we have only raised $5,080 of our $25,000 goal. Remember every dollar and family counts! 

Make sure to donate by 2/21 to ensure your child is entered into the drawing for the lunchtime pizza party with Principal Hardy.  AND the top three donors will win a coveted year long parking spot in the front lot. Currently the top 3 donations range from $300-$400.  Continue to lookout for updates, if you want to win!


100% Homestead

Our 5th Annual 100% Homestead fundraising campaign is underway!  The campaign will run for two weeks through Friday, February 21st.  With this fundraiser, you don’t have to buy or sell anything to your friends/family OR bid on items you don’t need!  Even better? 100% of your donation goes directly to the Homestead PTCO to fund programs that benefit every student at Homestead.

Every Family Counts – Every Dollar Counts.  Your participation in 100% Homestead is critical in order to continue to provide the best possible experience for our students. Our school-wide goal is $25,000.  Based on our historical donations and the distribution of those funds, we are suggesting a donation of $100 per student; but we will be so appreciative of any amount you are able to give!  Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and can be made by check payable to Homestead PTCO OR online click here.

Winter Wishes – Nov 25 – Dec 9th

Homestead Elementary’s opportunity to provide gifts during the holiday season for children in need at Ponderosa Elementary.

  • Gift tags will be available on the tree in the front lobby beginning Monday, November 25th.
  • Please be sure to provide your name, contact information, and gifts requested next to the tag number on the signup sheet.
  • All wrapped (if requested on the tag) gifts are due, with the tag attached, to the front office the morning of Dec. 9.

2019/20 Homestead Elementary Sponsorship Opportunities

We are pleased to present a new and improved way to support and sponsor Homestead Elementary School.  Like many schools, we rely on the generous donations of the community to assist in the support of our children’s education.  The past success in our fundraising events is a direct result of the valuable help provided by our parents and generous members of our community – like you.  Please see the attached package options for 2019-2020 sponsorship opportunities.

By sponsoring our activities and events, you help us provide what kids need to become great learners and leaders.  Funds raised throughout the year are used to support teacher assistant salaries, technology subscriptions, various grade level enrichment programs, field trips, integrated arts and hospitality.

Two easy steps to become a sponsor:

1)      Complete the attached Sponsorship Form.

2)      Submit the Sponsorship Form by July 1, 2019.
