Volunteers needed for Homestead’s Book Fair

The Homestead Scholastic Book Fair is March 4-7! We need volunteers to help make this a successful event. Please click on the here to volunteer for shifts as cashier, as well as helping with set-up in the morning of March 1 and take-down in the afternoon on March 7. Your help is appreciated!

Yearbooks On Sale!

It’s that time of year to order a yearbook!  This is the only time that yearbooks are available to purchase. The cost is $22 until Feb. 28. On March 1, the cost will increase to $29 with only a limited amount of books available on a first come, first served basis. Last year we ran out of yearbooks, so please purchase by Feb. 28 to GUARANTEE your child(ren) a yearbook!

100% Homestead Campaign – Donate Now!

Donate Now!

Our 4th Annual 100% Homestead fundraising campaign is underway. With this fundraiser, you don’t have to buy or sell anything to your friends and neighbors. 100% of donations go directly to the Homestead PTCO to fund programs that benefit every student at Homestead.

Every family counts! Participation, at any amount, is key to the success of this campaign; therefore, Principal Sorg is joining in, too, and offering the following incentives:

Pizza Party with Principal Sorg:

  • Two lunchtime pizza parties for grades K-2 & 3-5 the week of March 11, 2019.
  • Weekly drawings: we will have a random drawing where 10 lucky students from each grade will win a spot at the pizza party (eligible students are those who have donated by their grade’s respective deadline)
  • Weekly grade donation deadlines are as follows:
    • 2nd Grade – Friday, February 1, 2019, by 6:00 p.m.
    • 5th Grade – Friday, February 8, 2019, by 6:00 p.m.
    • 3rd Grade – Friday, February 15, 2019, by 6:00 p.m.
    • 4th Grade – Friday, February 22, 2019, by 6:00 p.m.
    • 1st Grade – Friday, March 1, 2019, by 6:00 p.m.
    • Kindergarten – Friday, March 8, 2109, by 6:00 p.m.
  • Donate any time before your grade level deadline to be entered.

Ice Cream Party with Principal Sorg:

  • All students in the grade that raises the most money are invited to participate.
  • Donations must be received by March 8, 2019, for your contribution to be included grade level totals.

Class Taught by Principal Sorg:

  • If overall participation this year is higher than last year, Principal Sorg will randomly draw two teachers (one from grades K-2 and one from 3-5). Winning teachers will choose the subject to have him teach one day this spring.
